Description: "12/24/1961: At 11:55 p.m. a West Kootenay Power and Light Co. pole was sheared off by a blast. There was no evidence indicating the type of bomb used; damage was estimated at $300. This incident, along with two others earlier on the same day, was attributed to the Sons of Freedom (SOF) and followed the arrest of a senior member of that group. "
