Description: "07/13/1962: A bomb placed in a barn exploded, slightly damaging the floor. This was the first of three fire bombings which occurred on this date. The devices conformed to the design of those used by Sons of Freedom (SOF) arsonists (made up of gasoline-filled pop bottles with wicks leading to bundles of matches) and were found on farms in the Agassiz area, where a new penitentiary had recently been opened to house SOF members convicted of incidents in the Kootenays."
