Description: "08/02/1965: At 10:30 p.m. the Canadian National Railways track at Sainte-Madeleine was dynamited, leaving a deep hole. Police said that ""a very powerful charge"" was used. Shortly after the explosion a freight train crossed the gap by increasing speed. Regular traffic was restored on the Maritime line after repairmen worked close to four hours on the track. Two members of Les Chevaliers de l'independance (both of them former technicians in the armed forces) were sentenced for the incident, and received two and four year sentences."
