Description: "11/29/1966: At 8:30 p.m. an anonymous caller warned police that a bomb had been placed near the wire fence surrounding a transformer at the strikebound Iroquois Glass Co. in south shore Candiac; he stated that the bomb would explode in a few minutes. Police found a package which army experts blew up in a nearby field. It subsequently appeared that the package contained a clock, but no dynamite. The plant had been shut down since 22 October, when 460 workers walked off their jobs in support of higher wages."
