Description: 12/01/1968: The home of the general manager of the Lord Steel Company was rocked by a bomb blast before 2:00 a.m. He received an anonymous telephone call later from a man who identified himself as a member of the Front de Liberation du Quebec (FLQ). He said that the next blast would be fatal. A small charge of black powder was slipped through the mail slot in the front door and ignited by a fuse. No one was hurt. This attack was carried out by an FLQ cell whose operations were often labour-related.
