Description: 05/24/1970: A powerful bomb exploded at 4:10 a.m. at the Board of Trade building in Montreal's financial district on Victoria Day. The bomb was probably placed at the west side of the entrance. A Front de Liberation du Quebec (FLQ) communique condemned the links between the government and the Rue Saint-Jacques capitalists. It also demanded the release of all political prisoners.
