Description: "07/12/1970: A 150-pound bomb, described by a police explosives expert as ""the biggest homemade bomb ever planted by terrorists in North America,"" was placed in a stolen Volkswagen parked behind the Bank of Montreal headquarters, in the heart of the city's financial district. It had been there some time when it aroused the curiosity of a bank security guard, who alerted the bomb squad. The device had been set to explode at 4:00 a.m.. It was dismantled."
