Description: "03/03/1971: At 1:25 a.m. a brick was thrown through a window of the Toronto home of the chairman of the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, followed by a smoke bomb. This bomb, and one used in a simultaneous attack elsewhere, were stolen from the Canadian Forces. Telephone calls to Toronto radio stations and newspapers claimed that the bombs were a protest against policies of the federal government ""over its actions in connection with French Canadians""; at least one of the calls was made using a tape recorder. The bombs caused less than $2,000 damage in the two homes."
