Description: "10/16/1972: Radical supporters of Juan Peron bombed the American owned Sheraton Hotel in Buenos Aires. A Canadian woman was killed in the blast. According to the Washington Post, ""An anonymous telephone call to the newspaper La Prensa said the blast was the work of the Marxist Liberation Armed Forces, but hotel employees said pamphlets signed by the 'Maximo Mena Command' had been found in the hotel. The command is an extremist group of Peron followers. A dozen bombs exploded earlier in Buenos Aires and other Argentine cities, mostly at the homes of military officers."" "
