Description: "01/23/1976: A Tanzanian immigrant, 49, was thrown from the platform of the Islington subway station. The victim suffered two broken legs and spent four and a half months in hospital. The incident occurred after three youths taunted visible minority passengers on the train and then blocked the man's exit. On 11/09/1976, two men were convicted of assault causing bodily harm."
