Description: "08/08/1978: The homes of two members of Toronto's Yugoslavian community were bombed. In the first case, a bomb exploded in a fifth-floor hallway, causing about $7,000 damage. The bomb appeared to have been a pipe bomb, detonated by a clock, placed outside the door of an apartment housing a Yugoslav family. The blast occurred at night. The second bomb exploded at 3:45 a.m. outside the home of a member of Toronto's Yugoslavian community. The pipe bomb, apparently connected to an alarm clock and battery, shook the foundations, but the house was empty and no one was injured. The homeowner was a developer and active in the Croatian community."
