Description: 04/01/1983: A hand grenade was mailed to one of three Armenians convicted on conspiracy charges in the attempted assassination of a Turkish Commercial Attaché in Ottawa in 1982. The package containing the grenade broke open in a Toronto postal station. The man for whom it was intended had been the target of death threats after he criticized the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia according to his lawyer.
