Description: "03/19/1986: Luis Ralph Hernandez, a Chilean, attempted to hijack a Canadian Pacific Air DC-10 en route from Canada to Peru with 281 passengers and 13 crew members. Hernandez tried unsuccessfully to break into the cockpit. He then struggled with passengers and was finally subdued. The plane made an emergency landing at the Omar Torrijos Herrara International Airport in Panama City where Panamaian authorities arrested Hernandez, who they planned to extradite to Chile."
