Description: "10/09/1986: A Canadian Airlines International aircraft, en route Amsterdam-Edmonton-Vancouver, landed at Edmonton after the pilot learned there was a note in the aircraft warning that a bomb would explode if the aircraft went below a certain altitude unless money was provided. No bomb was found. The technical description of the bomb in the note initially convinced police that this was not a hoax, even though the note-writer's motivation was not clear."
