Description: "06/10/2008: Suspected militants from the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta ambushed a security patrol vessel contracted to the Canadian Addax Petroleum Corporation in the open water off Akwa Ibom State in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. One sailor was killed in the attack and four others wounded. The attack is the second one in two days after militants ambushed a patrol vessel, also contracted to the Canadian Addax Petroleum Corporation, in the in the Bonny Channel in Rivers State on 06/09/2008, killing one sailor."
