Description: "09/21/2013: Somalia's Al Qaida-linked Al Shabab attacked the Westgate Shopping Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, which killed at least 70 people and injured over 175 others. Two Canadians, including a diplomat, died in the incident. Al Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack, which was reportedly conducted in retaliation for Kenya sending troops to Somalia. The raid marked the deadliest terror attack in Kenya since the U.S. Embassy bombing in 1998, which killed over 200 people. Unsubstantiated claims have been made that one of the gunmen was Canadian."
