Description: "02/17/2013: Assailants kidnapped Carl Campeau and 20 Filipino employees of the United Nations Disengagement Force (UNDOF) from Damascus city, Damascus governorate, Syria. The Filipino captives were released three days later on February 20, 2013. Campeau, a Canadian lawyer, escaped eight months later on October 17, 2013. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Muslim fundamentalists."
